The sow delivery bed, also known as the high training farrowing pen, is mainly composed of sow positioning frame, piglet fence, piglet insulation box, leakage floor, sow feeding trough, and piglet feeding trough. The function of the sow positioning rack is to control the free movement area and lying mode of the sow. There are barriers between the sow laying bed racks to prevent piglets from being crushed, stepped on, or injured. The length of the positioning frame is generally 2.1-2.3 meters, the width is 0.6 meters, and the height is 1.0 meter. There is a curved guardrail welded on the railing below the limit frame to protect piglets without affecting their feeding. The temperature of the space at different heights in the sow's delivery bed varies greatly. The actual production survey found that the height of sows' litter was increased from 20cm to 45cm, and the incidence rate of piglets' Escherichia coli was reduced by 50% to 70%. According to the growth and breeding patterns of sows, they can be divided into five stages: reserve sows, pregnant sows, parturient sows, lactating sows, and empty pregnant sows. The quality of feeding and management at each stage directly affects the growth, reproduction, and value of sows. The fence should be flat, and the delivery bed should be flat to prevent cuts and nipple loss. Wash the breasts and nipples with 0.1% potassium permanganate once to twice a day to prevent mastitis and affect lactation in sows. Avoiding the phenomenon of sows crushing piglets, a dedicated warm box has been designed for piglets to keep warm in cold weather. Two weeks before delivery, sows should wash the delivery room and bed thoroughly, and then rinse them with sodium hydroxide solution. Keep the pigsty dry for at least two days. Sows should be transferred to the delivery room one week before delivery (if conditions permit, sows should be washed before transferring to the delivery room) to adapt to the new environment. And it is necessary to keep the delivery room clean, dry, quiet and comfortable, with fresh air, sufficient sunshine in winter, and the temperature inside the house maintained at. Pig farms with delivery rooms should prepare the delivery bed for sows in a timely manner before delivery, and drive the sows into the delivery room 5-7 days before delivery to familiarize them with the environment
