Structure Design
Storage bucket: usually cylindrical or square, made of high-grade plastic or stainless steel material, with good sealing and practicality. Its capacity varies from 15 to 50 liters, which can meet the needs of different aquaculture scales.
Unloading device: generally located at the bottom of the storage tank, consisting of a movable baffle, a gravity sensing device, and a conical diversion structure. When the feed in the trough is below the set capacity, the gravity sensing device will trigger the movable baffle to automatically open, and the feed in the storage bucket will flow uniformly into the trough through the conical diversion structure under the action of gravity.
Food trough: mostly trapezoidal or rectangular, made of grade PE and other anti mold materials (based on actual reports), with a smooth surface and easy cleaning. The length and width of the trough are designed according to the type and quantity of poultry, and can accommodate multiple poultry at the same time. The height of the trough is reasonably planned to reduce the situation where feed is dug out of the trough.
Rainproof component: The top cover is the main rainproof component, usually designed with a wide width, which can cover the entire storage tank and food trough, preventing rainwater from directly entering. The top cover of some feeders also has a slope to allow rainwater to flow at a suitable speed to the ground, avoiding water accumulation. In addition, the connection between the storage tank and the food trough will also be sealed to prevent rainwater from seeping in through the gaps.
Working principle
Relying on the self weight of materials to achieve continuous feeding. During the feeding process of poultry, when the feed in the trough decreases to a certain level, the gravity sensing device will detect the weight change and control the movable baffle at the bottom of the storage bucket to open. The feed will automatically fall into the trough under the action of gravity until the feed in the trough reaches the set capacity, and the movable baffle will close again to complete a feeding process.
